This is a copy of a note of encouragement I posted elsewhere. I'm posting it here for whatever help it provides to any others as well. We ALL have "damaged" cells, as well as emotional wounds. But we need, in our journey of change, to remind ourselves that WE ARE CONSTANTLY LITERALLY CREATING OURSELVES ANEW!!! Each new positive step...even the tiny ones, each new positive thought, each new decision...even if "just for today" that we make and act on, EVERY TIME WE CAN...EVEN FOR A MOMENT...LOVE WHO WE ARE AND LOVE THE CELLS THAT COMPOSE OUR BODIES, WE CREATE OURSELVES IN A NEW UPDATED VERSION!!! I know of people who, with this approach have changed even what was considered to be a "genetic condition". So, it is my hope that ALL of us, no matter where we are, can see ourselves as works in progress...growing, changing, becoming a new and better version of ourselves moment by moment. This is NOT wishful thinking!!! It is based on the latest scientific knowledge and understanding! Please let us know if any of this is helpful to you or to someone you know.
So, here is the post....
"..., I use your name because, no matter HOW important someone else or our roles with someone else are to us, YOU...the being YOU actually are....is SO important!! Why do you think YOU matter to others?? Why do you think YOU matter to God?? Because You are a precious Child of God, just like every one of us!!!
I have taught and am a faculty advisor at a medical school. I say that only to say that I have good sources for this information: We know now that THE BODY IS CONSTANTLY REGENERATING ITSELF!!! In fact, we know now that there is probably not a single cell in our body that was there 5 to 7 years ago!!!! NOT A SINGLE CELL!! So, every cell that we have "mistreated" is being replaced continuously. And we all have damaged cells. What the body needs, in addition to whatever help is available from medical sources, IS TO BE FLOODED WITH LOVE AND LIGHT so that each new cell is able to create itself in the best possible fashion!!
I have helped so many clients and patients with this very process...resolving and releasing the pain and learning to "feed" themselves, with the help of others, with the positive thoughts and beliefs and experiences they CHOOSE INSTEAD! (And, believe me, I am continually working on this myself.)
There are a ton of resources to help with this...!! Among the resources I recommend are the book, Healing the Child Within by Charles Whitfield, and the movie What the Bleep (What the Bleep Do We Know). I have had such a LONG journey of healing, from abuse and loss and illness and on and on, and I'm still not done. But, as someone who has traveled so far and has helped guide so many others, I want to add my strong encouragement for you as you heal the "stuff" and replace it with the love and light you so much want and deserve...both emotionally and in your body!!! Peace and love to you on your journey of discovery and change.
By the way, believe it or not, the tears are cleansing!!!! There is a great little book, an allegory about healing, called The Knight in Rusty Armor. In story form, it follows the path of how to change the "suit of armor" we all have learned to wear, initially to protect ourselves. Interestingly, once he becomes motivated to change, the knight cannot blow-torch the armor off...we all wish that we could!!! He goes on a journey. I won't reveal the plot, but, if you read it, you would find that shedding tears plays an important part in healing!!
Just remember that EACH tiny movement you make toward healing literally "feeds" the new cells that, as we speak, are being created and are needing direction. LOVE EACH OF THEM!!!! Be, if you can, the loving (person) to YOU also!! I know that the more I have been able to do this, the more I have been able to show up more to be the loving person for my children and grandchildren! You are brave and courageous. Thank you for sharing with all of us!
In love and peace, Pauline
Blessings to each and every one of you engaged in this process!! YOU are SO important to bringing change to this planet!! Pauline
