Hello All,
Happy Saint Patrick's Day. Since my maiden name at birth was Kennedy, I cannot miss an opportunity for a "Top O' the Day" wish for each and every one of you. May the Luck of the Irish be yours!!
HOW did it get to be March??? What happened to January and February??? Time marches on, as they say, more rapidly than ever it seems.
There has never been a more appropriate moment, in my memory, to be aware of the choices we each are making about whether to focus on hope and opportunity or to be mired down in the fear and alarm that surrounds us. With the current economic, housing and employment situations that are challenging us all, where are your thoughts? What are your beliefs? What are your feelings? And how do these thoughts, beliefs and feelings affect your outlook now?
Do we really believe in scarcity, in only having so much in the way of resources available to us? Do we believe we have to compete and struggle for those resources? Are we mired in fear when the funds we "depended" on seem fragile at best and sometimes outright disappearing? Do we channel our frustration outwardly, focusing on our anger at the excesses and abuses we see? Do we believe that just throwing more money at the situation--or hoarding more resources for ourselves--is the way out? And where does all of this focus take us if not into more doom and gloom, more despair, both individually and collectively?
Is there another way? And is there more opportunity in any other approach? I believe strongly that there is. What is it and how do we get there?
What if we did not believe in scarcity? What if we really believed that there is plenty for all, and that the resources are not outside of us, but within us? What if how we approached the entire situation was different, if we thought that maybe the stage is being set for opportunity rather than just crisis? What if, as the title of my practice brochure says, there is a "Gift in Every Challenge"? And what if we just need an emerging new approach to make the shift that will allow the gifts and opportunities to appear?
If you, like me, would like to explore that possible shift and those opportunities, then stay tuned for information to come. Meanwhile, you are welcomed to get and read my booklet, "Steps to Personal Power" that addresses some of this changing perspective. The book in process will carry this even further, as we also do in seminars and other venues. But more will be posted here for you to consider in these challenging times.
Maybe, on this day of celebration, we can look forward to more positive things to come.
Once again, Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!!! Laugh a lot and love a lot--today and on all days. And be SURE to dance every moment you can!
In peace and joy,
Dr. Pauline DeLozier
Welcome!
A brand new year! Welcome 2009! And welcome to each of you, fellow travelers!
To bring in some cheer and some sense of community to our unfolding adventures, I have added several features to my website beginning on January first.
As so many of you know, I am a big fan of providing resources to help you be more effective in achieving desired results. So I have listed many of my favorite time-honored resources, and a few newer ones, on the "Recommended" Page with a link to Amazon.com.
As always, you are welcomed to obtain the books and other resources at the local bookstores or online elsewhere. You are welcomed to just get the information from the site. However, if you wish for your convenience, the items can now be ordered directly from the website.
Also, the long-awaited Steps to Personal Power booklet is now available through the website! I have just added a shopping cart feature for purchase of this brand new product, as well as for other products as available. (This non-techy even did it herself!! Good thing for Help Menus!!)
The Audio CD version of Steps to Personal Power is in the works now and will be available soon. The Steps to Personal Power Journal Workbook is also being developed. I am beginning to feel like a midwife as these projects seem to take on a life of their own!
May this year bring joy, warmth, and peace to each of you. May your pathway be strewn with unexpected treasures. As for me, my one and only New Year's intention was to choose to be happy. And my one New Year's blessing was for peace, prosperity and love for each and every being on our Earth.
Thank you for being fellow travelers on this grand adventure of life! For 2009 and always, enjoy!!
In Joy,
Dr. Pauline DeLozier
